Church Life

We’re from many nations, all walks of life and at different stages on the journey – but doing life together is at the heart of our community and you’re invited to join usWhether you want to explore your faith with other believers, are interested in activities for yourself or your kids, or want to actively volunteer, come and bring your unique flavour to the vibrant life of our church. You belong!

Get connected

Growing together

There is so much more to church than just meeting together on a Sunday. The church is called a family for good reason. We certainly need God – but we need one another as well.

Connect groups

Everyone matters and we all need friendship and relationship. Throughout the week we have many connect groups that meet online, in homes, or at other venues. Ranging from active young people’s groups to full family groups to online gatherings, connect groups provide a forum for meaningful friendships, prayer, Bible study and discussion.

Kids & youth

We believe that church should be relevant for all ages. Our deep desire is that children will not only learn about Jesus but also develop a personal relationship with Him. We aim to create a fun and caring environment and a positive experience of church for all children and youth from all cultures, nations and backgrounds.

Church family

We love to spend time together as an extended, multicultural family and enjoy a variety of events from games nights to camping trips.

We regularly have “Community Sunday” services, following which we have a truly international meal together. You are also welcome to demonstrate your barbecuing skills after our baptism services (normally held at a local lake).

Come get to know others in the family and grow together in the process!

Women

Our heart is for women of all ages and backgrounds to come into the revolutionary knowledge of who they truly are in Jesus – royal, beautiful, dearly loved, influential and needed! At Hope Church we believe strongly in empowering and releasing every precious daughter of the King into all God has for them.

As well as our own women’s ministry within Hope Church, we nurture a growing international ministry for women called Diadem.

Committed Fellowship

If you’re new to Hope Church Munich or interested in making us your church home, we warmly invite you to join one of our “Committed Fellowship” courses. In addition to a thorough introduction to the church, you will have the chance to ask questions and meet our pastors and leaders over the 3 sessions of the course.

Going deeper in the faith

Equipping encounters

From time to time we offer special themed workshops and prayer & worship evenings for all who are hungry to explore their faith in a deeper way.

These range from practical workshops in hearing God and prophecy to teaching on specific areas such as prayer or an overview of the Bible.

Get involved

Helping hands are always welcome

Everyone can be involved in making things happen and everyone is needed! Helping in a team is a great way to meet people, use your ability to serve in the church and learn new skills.

Children are a gift from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), and if you thrive on spending time with kids and would love to invest in them to lead them into a deeper relationship with Jesus, we have a  place for you! Whether with pre-schoolers, primary school age or “teens and tweens”, our kids are very much a part of our church family.

Kids' Catering Team

With services ending at a time when most kids’ tummies are starting to rumble, our kids’ catering team performs an invaluable service by providing a simple meal towards the end of the service time. Food is prepared either at home or in the lower kitchen at church.

Youth Ministry Team

Over 80% of people come to Christ before the age of 18. The teenage years are such a time of questioning and openness and this area is a life-changing ministry. If you love to engage with young people, enjoy fun activities and exploring issues, and have a mentoring heart, get in touch!

Leading small groups

Our connect groups are a core ministry as that’s where most growth in faith takes place. With Bible study, prayer and above all, fellowship and relationship building, we are constantly looking to start more groups – if you feel led to lead one, or would love to just host one, please get in touch.
