Our heart for giving
“Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.”2 Corinthians 9:10
We encourage the principle of offering and tithing — giving a tenth of income (see Malachi 3:10) — as an act of worship. And we know we can never outgive God!
Donations flow into running the church (“bread for food”) and outwards to support ministries in our community and internationally (“seed to the sower”).

Bread for food
Your financial gift helps support all of our day-to-day running costs. From rent to salaries, streaming licences to refreshments for the kids — all this is possible through the generosity of faithful individuals.
Seed for the sower
One clear message from the Bible is God’s heart for the poor and disadvantaged, so we sow a tithe of what we receive back into community projects both locally and internationally.
Ministries we have been led to support include organisations providing assistance to homeless people, widows and orphans, refugees, and victims of disasters — as well as supporting other Christian ministries in the extension of God’s Kingdom.
Ways to give
Hope Church e.V. has charitable status, so donations are tax-deductible for tax payers in Germany. To receive a tax receipt, please provide your name and full address when making a donation. We will send you a letter early the following year.
